emergent legacy

Thank you for setting up this site, Carol.

An observation - now that David is no longer on this plane, in a sense his work can become truly emergent. He has left a number if nodes of people/groupings around the world, who are evolving his work in their own ways , following slightly divergent prinicpals or emphases. As we connect, new thinking emerges in different ways. This site is a place of connectivity through which those nodes can interact, discuss and continue to enable the work to emerge in new ways. There can be no one definitive version of David's work if it is to stay true to the fundamental prinicpals of emergence. Only, now, diverse interpretations and diverse evolutions. David has bequethed, through his death, a body of work which is truly systematic and I look forward to seeing how it continues to emerge.

How will we evolve the astounding contribution David made to the field of psychotherapy, coaching, science and the arts in our individual and collective ways?

Looking forward to seeing what happens. What are others thoughts on the future of this work?

love to all in the Grovian family,

Deborah

Re: emergent legacy

Emergency can be, if I may say ,the most realist aspect of Life or the act of living or of being alive . I can argue , following Michael Bakhtins' most insperational expresion I ever meet , I mean read , which is the'' Yet- to-be '' , and which i find expressive enough , of the idea of Emergency . In addition , Deulouze , hasn't been mistaken to say that emergency is not an Exception but a Rule . In this sense legacy is treated , in Bakhtin's words , as a 'Task' that is always , but never , to be accomplished ; as if the Totality of legacy -and/or its Total acomplishment - is part of and/or in its being Always yet-to-be , that is , it will be always emerging .

By the end I 'd like to pay your attention to the fact that I 'm no expert or authour .I 'm simply a student .
